Razor Sharp PR Continues Expansion, Welcomes Olivia Stokes

The PR industry is changing fast, and most firms haven't caught up. Earned media still matters—it's one of the fastest ways for a business to build authority and grow its market share. But it's no longer enough on its own. As AI search agents and search algorithms reshape how people find information, a real strategy has to do more than land coverage. It has to own the ground a brand stands on.

That's the shift driving our growth at Razor Sharp PR. And it's happening on two fronts at once. We're bringing on new clients across new industries, and we're building out services that go well beyond traditional PR. The biggest of these is SEO- and GEO-optimized owned media: managing the websites, blogs, and platforms our clients already control so they show up not just in search results, but in the answers AI tools give when someone asks a question. We want our clients to be the answer.

Growth like that takes people. So we're adding to our team. Olivia Stokes has joined Razor Sharp PR as a Junior Associate.

"The agencies that win in this next era won't be the ones who wait for coverage to happen to them. They'll be the ones building both the pitch and the platform. That's the demand driving our growth right now, and it's why we brought Olivia on board," said President and Founder Ray Young. "Her ability to move between technical, creative, and people-facing work is exactly the versatility this moment calls for."

Stokes brings a background that doesn't fit in one lane. She trained in back-end software development through Nucamp, working through the kind of technical problem-solving and documentation that most PR hires never touch. She's worked as a Registered Behavior Technician, sharpening the communication skills that come from working directly with people. She's spent years in customer service.

"Razor Sharp PR caught my eye because of its ability to find creative angles and solve problems," Stokes said. "I cannot wait to be part of a team that does this, and I hope to contribute that same creativity."

If you wait for a journalist, a customer, or a search algorithm to stumble onto your story, you'll wait until your competitors have already told it for you. That's the friction we built Razor Sharp PR to remove. Every new client, every new service, every new hire is aimed at the same thing: making sure our clients own their story long after the news cycle moves on.
