Boutique Financial Services / Wealth Management firm based in Tallahassee, Florida.

Objective

To position and establish Brett Ewing and First Franklin as a leader in wealth management strategy to grow their clientele, especially in Florida. 

Challenges

Even though they’ve been around for a long time with a stable client base, First Franklin was looking to grow substantially. But they had the problem of potential clients not knowing about the firm or not understanding how valuable their wealth strategies could be to their portfolios. 

Services Deployed

Razor Sharp PR helped develop a regular stock market note from Brett on his insights into market activity and direction, as well as his take on important sectors and trends, such as COVID-19’s impact on the economy and markets. We continue to utilize these frequent notes to land both local Florida and national financial media to introduce, validate, and convince potential clients that working with Brett and First Franklin is in their best financial interest.  

In addition, we began producing by-lined articles and opinion pieces from Brett on hot financial topics that we place in key publications like Financial Advisor Magazine and Investment News. These again serve to build the First Franklin brand among possible clients. 

In addition, constantly monitoring financial, business, and wealth management news trends make it possible to insert Brett into the news as an expert source. For example, when the Fed raises rates, or the U.S. puts tariffs on China or other countries, we can get First Franklin into the news. 

Lastly, we also employ an old tactic to build rapport with media: meet with reporters and editors one-on-one.
