    Leveraging more than 15 years of extensive public relations and media strategy experience, Ray develops and manages clients’ national public image campaigns.

    Over the years, Ray has repeatedly been recognized for excellence in public relations; winning professional awards for specific PR programs and campaigns, managing individual PR events, opinion writing, as well as a press release and media advisory writing. His experience spans numerous business sectors, with a specific focus on finance, legal and technology.

    Specifically, he’s coordinated myriad media campaigns during high-profile PR moments, including public company merger and acquisition announcements, public company earnings, U.S. Supreme Court arguments and decisions, and multiple California gubernatorial campaign events with former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and then President George W. Bush.

    In addition to his traditional public relations background, the emergence of social media has been a focus for Ray as he helps businesses implement blogs, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social networking strategies into their marketing programs.A graduate of UCLA, Ray’s expertise includes client placement on major national networks like CNBC, ABC, CNN, Fox News, Fox Business Network, Bloomberg Television and Radio, CNN Radio and Fox News Radio, as well as major newspapers and wires like The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Financial Times, Associated Press, Bloomberg, Reuters, Dow Jones, USA Today, The Chicago Tribune and The Los Angeles Times.

    Before launching Razor Sharp PR, Ray was senior vice president of Halldin Public Relations where he helped American Technology Research launch as an independent equity research firm in September 2002 and promoted the firm until its acquisition by Gleacher & Co. (NASDAQ: GLCH) in 2008. After the acquisition, he continued to serve the research unit and became the spokesperson for Gleacher.

    Prior to Halldin, Ray served as the deputy press secretary to GOP gubernatorial candidate Bill Simon Jr. and was also the public relations coordinator for iVentex Solutions, an IT consulting firm. He began his career as an associate with Burson-Marsteller – one of the world’s largest PR firms – where he worked extensively to promote business and industries.
